Team Purpose:
The purpose of the Stewardship Ministry Team is to coordinate the stewardship emphasis for all areas of ministry, reporting directly to the Elder Board, and working closely with the Sr. Pastor.

Routine Duties
Team Duties
- Study the Scripture along with other resources to gather ideas for improving the stewardship ministry of Faith.
- Spend time in prayer as a ministry team and as individuals:
- for God's work in the lives of people within the church as it relates to stewardship.
- for God's provision of the financial resources needed for the mission He has given us.
- for God's direction as we develop a growing stewardship ministry at Faith.
- Implement a capital funds campaign as needed
- Develop and implement an annual stewardship campaign that includes two components:
- Teaching:
Helping members to develop a comprehensive understanding of the biblical principles of stewardship -- for example, through an annual preaching series - Communication:
Simple, consistent, clear

Balancing all areas of ministry
- Teaching:
- Work with the church accountant in overseeing all financial procedures.
- Work with all church committees and ministry teams to prepare the first draft of the total church budget each year.
Specific Objectives
Team Objectivies
- Continue to cultivate generosity in our congregation through preaching (worship services) and teaching (seminars).
- Develop a stewardship/discipleship path to help individuals grow toward greater maturity and generosity.
- Develop a summary statement of the biblical teaching on tithing and generosity.
- Continue to evaluate and refine financial policies and procedures for all church ministries.
- Oversee and communicate the financial situation of the church monthly and quarterly.
